Sonia Ortega of EHR Receives ‘Commitment to Human Diversity in Ecology Award’

Sonia Ortega, program director in the Division of Graduate Education in the Education and Human Resources directorate, has been recognized by the Ecological Society of America (ESA) for her work to support and

promote diversity in ecology: She has been selected as this year's winner of the ESA's ‘Commitment to Human Diversity in Ecology Award.'

In August, Ortega will be recognized at the opening scientific plenary of the 2103 ESA Annual Meeting with other award winners. She will also be recognized at the Diversity Luncheon, where she will have an opportunity to address the gathering.

EURIAS Fellowship Programme

EURIAS Fellowship Programme is an international researcher mobility programme bringing together 16 Institutes for Advanced Study across Europe. It offers 39 fellowships for the year 2014/2015.
